EmployBridge successfully implements a large post-merger integration program.

EmployBridge engaged Credera to migrate the U.S.-based Energy division from their legacy ERP application, resulting in more streamlined PayBill processing, reduced cost, and allowing EmployBridge to decommission their old application​.

EmployBridge, the largest supplier of specialty staffing in the U.S., initiated a large post-merger integration program in October 2016. Their U.S.-based energy division (DRV) was the last division operating on the legacy iSearch platform. EmployBridge had previously tasked another consulting firm and third-party vendor to migrate DRV to another platform, but after a year of work, the project was riddled with issues and had missed multiple targeted go-live dates.

Credera was engaged in January 2017 to restart the project and migrate DRV onto the CRM-Lawson platform used by the remainder of the company. ​After the project, EmployBridge was able to decommission their legacy iSearch platform by the end of 2017, saving approximately $80,000 per month.​

The Challenge

Credera and EmployBridge completed a large post-merger integration program in October 2016. Their U.S.-based energy division (DRV) was the last division operating on the legacy iSearch platform. These associates work variable schedules and are highly compensated, generating approximately $90 million in revenue annually. EmployBridge had previously tasked another consulting firm and third-party vendor to migrate DRV to another platform (VistaVu). ​

After over a year of work, the project was riddled with issues and had missed multiple targeted go-live dates. Credera was engaged in January 2017 to restart the project and migrate DRV onto the CRM-Lawson platform used by the remainder of the company.​

The Solution

Implementing program leadership to drive results.

  • Managed the project throughout the discovery, design, develop, and deploy phases.

  • Gathered DRV’s business requirements, which is uniquely different than the typical EmployBridge branches.

  • Designed a new process in CRM-Lawson to collect and store key DRV-specific data points from associates and produce on client invoices​.

  • Developed a custom time entry application and business process to submit associate’s time for pay and bill processing​.

  • Facilitated the conversion of master and payroll history data, allowing for accurate payroll processing and reduced the effort required to issue tax forms for DRV associates at the end of 2017.

  • Completed the project in less than eight months, on time and on budget.
