As a result of compromised critical applications, this global travel company was unable to operate and faced a material business continuity risk. Their backup, cloud, and on-premises systems were offline, and wider network links were down globally. Our team also faced an internal client knowledge transition challenge, as a large percentage of permanent SMEs were unavailable due to the COVID-19 crisis. This was exacerbated by many key documents being out of date or unavailable.

We quickly mobilised a multi-disciplinary team of operation recovery specialists, project managers, cloud subject matter experts, infrastructure subject matter experts, architects, and engineers. They worked with the travel company’s permanent staff to assess the business recovery and continuity options.
