The Magnificent Seven: Key highlights from Salesforce Spring ‘25 release

The Spring ‘25 release of Salesforce hit production on the weekends of February 7 and 14. As is the tradition, Credera’s release webinar brought you up to speed with all the changes that matter. You can watch the full recording on-demand on our YouTube channel.

To whet your appetite, here’s the Magnificent Seven—the changes and enhancements we are most excited about.

1. Sort list views/related lists by multiple columns

Analyse your data based on multiple factors with this new feature. Group your deals by client and then further order them based on the size of the deal. This came from the IdeaExchange—a good reminder that it’s worth sharing ideas there!

2. Reset password link supports multiple clicks

With this new identity verification setting your organization’s security tools can follow password reset links without impacting the user’s ability to complete the process. An extra step means the link won’t be consumed until the user clicks through an interim page or until 24 hours elapse.

3. Agentforce Consumption Cards in Digital Wallet

One of the challenges for early adopters of Salesforce generative AI was tracking usage (and hence cost). The new conversation Consumption Cards in Digital Wallet allow you to see the combined usage of your Sales and Service Agents.

4. Local Dev for Lightning Web Components generally available

One for the pro-coders! If (like me) you aren’t the finest web designer, you’ll spend quite a bit of time making minor tweaks to the layout and styling your Lightning Web Components, then deploying them only to find you didn’t get it quite right. With Local Dev you can preview your changes as soon as you save the file—no deployment necessary.

5. Sales action plans

Identify the tasks and events you want your sales team to achieve and track progress. Another update that originated in the IdeaExchange.

6. Standard visual progress indicator for Lightning Flow

One for the low coders: No need to create custom solutions to show the user their progress through a multi-step flow, as it’s now standard on the Salesforce Platform.

7. Beta – Choose dashboard widgets to refresh

Nobody likes waiting for dashboards to refresh, especially if it’s a large dashboard and you are only interested in one chart or table. This new beta setting allows users to only refresh the widgets they need, which is sure to be a real time saver.

If this has piqued your interest, then head over and watch the full replay now!
